Marshall
Upon entry to the tiny community of Marshall, the population sign reads “50.” A store, a handful of homes, and a collection of the coast’s most popular oyster bars make up this small, charming town. Situated on Tomales Bay, Marshall is a popular spot for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing. And though the human population remains small, elk, elephant seals, and Northern American birds make the list of spectacular non-human inhabitants.
