Greenbrae is a small town with a strong community. Just minutes from the Larkspur/San Francisco ferry terminal and the Marin Country Mart, Greenbrae is incredibly well-located, offering easy access to San Francisco as well as Sonoma and Napa Counties. Sunny weather, mountain views, and a waterfront recreation path are just a few of the residents' favorite parts of life in Greenbrae. During the summer, you will often find a lemonade stand or two on the main neighborhood roads. Both the Bon Air Shopping Center and the Marin Country Mart serve as town centers, with holiday markets, community events, and plenty of retail shopping, groceries, fitness, and restaurant options. Greenbrae is also home to MarinHealth, which provides the convenience and reliability of a nearby medical facility. Greenbrae shares a zip code and school district with nearby Kentfield.
Being on the water sculling or sweep rowing is a magical way to be on the water, get a great workout and bond with others. There are excellent junior and master programs. The Marin Rowing Association’s reputation near and far is legendary!
